Size
Size is essentially the same thing as the radius of the sphere. The larger this value, the larger the spheres become. The smaller this value, the smaller the spheres become.
Transparency
You can also make the spheres see-through. Increasing the transparency value increases the ability to see through them, while decreasing the value makes them more solid looking.
